Quantitative Ultrasound Characterization of Materials
Ultrasonic non-destructive testing is widely used in the industry to study the structure of materials. Ultrasonic RF echo signals contain more information than that pertaining to the structure alone. Modern signal processing techniques can be used to unearth a wealth of information that provides further insight into the properties of materials.
Multimodal Imaging Fusion and Visualization
This is a rapidly evolving field due to the constant upgrading and improvement of imaging and computational systems. Our focus is to use information currently collected from different imaging modalities that do not share the same piece of equipment, and presenting it in a more cohesive way via image processing techniques.
