Tongbo Chen is a postdoctoral research associate (Andrew W. Mellon fellowship) at Munsell Color Science Laboratory, Rochester Institute of Technology under the supervision of Roy Berns. He was a postdoctoral research associate at USC ICT graphics lab (University of Southern California, Institute of Creative Technologies) under the supervision of Paul Debevec. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Max-Planck-Institut Informatik under the advising of Hendrik P. A. Lensch, Michael Goesele, and Hans-Peter Seidel.

Research Interest

His research interests include 3D scanning of complex scenes, appearance modeling, image-based relighting, polarimetry, computational photography, projector-camera system, 3D imaging of artwork and digital museum.
