Picture of Niek Who the heck am I?

I was born in Santa Clara, California in 1982. I went to kindergarten in the Netherlands, elementary school in Thailand, middle school in Singapore, and high school in California. I moved to New York to grab a BSc Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology. I currently live in Seattle.

My two greatest passions in life are being outdoors and traveling internationally. I love to climb, both ice and rock, and I'm addicted to kayaking as well. I also have a mishmash of other hobbies, from studying history to cooking unique foods.
