Night Sky,
by Mark R. Chartrand

This book is a fantastic introduction to the night sky and background astronomy. It was the book that really got me into astronomy in the first place (though an older edition), and it taught me almost all the astronomy I ever needed to know through my first year of college. The book is meant for teenagers and andults, though enthusiastic kids can get into it too, especially the diagrams and star charts. I got this book when I was 9!

CPC 800 XLT,
by Celestron

This telescope is my favorite yet. (It is the one that you may have seen us using at astronomy nights). The GPS system works great for finding objects and the new setup is really fast and easy... letting almost anyone setup, point and use the telescope (and of course we could always help you out). The optics are great too, giving great views of everything we look at. The model we have is one of the first and on of the drives occasionaly comes loose and has to be tightened (which is quite tricky), this might only happen in the one I have, or Celestron may have fixed the problem... I cant tell for sure.
