Use your hands to demonstrate position, velocity, acceleration

Each group will be assigned some of the following graphs of position (or velocity) versus time. You have two tasks to do:

  1. Wave your hand in such a way as to match the graph, and

  2. Write a detailed description of the motion, using terms such as "position", "displacement", "velocity" and "acceleration." One person from each group will present the results.
