I recently moved to Apple.

On Fall 2014 I defended my Ph.D. in Color Science at the Munsell Color Science Laboratory, Rochester Institute of Technology, under the supervision of Prof. Mark Fairchild. Before that, I spent several years working as research assistant at the University of Girona, under the supervision of Dr. Xavier Pueyo and Dr. Carles Bosch. Also, in fall 2009 I spent a quarter with Dr. Sumanta Pattanaik at the University of Central Florida, as a visiting researcher.

Research interests

I am mostly interested in material appearance, BRDF representation, and real-time rendering. I had been working for a while on the BRDFLab, a tool to design, fit, and render BRDFs.
