  • Bruker, DRX-300, 300 MHz NMR Spectrometer
    QNP (H-1, C-13, P-31, N-14) 5 mm sample probe with z-axis gradient coil at 50 G/cm
    BBI (H-1 through Ag-109) 5 mm sample probe with x,y,z-axes gradient coils at 50 G/cm each
    BBI probe is suitable for producing 5 mm FOV NMR microscopic images.
    TF (H-1) 5 mm turbulent flow probe

  • Low Field ESR Spectrometer
    300 MHz CW Bridge with 2 cm diameter sample probe
    100 Gauss, 30 cm diameter electromagnet
    30 mM sample sensitivity

  • Terraplus GSM-19 Overhauser Magnetometer with Basestation
    Range: 20,000 to 120,000 nT
    Resolution: 0.01 nT
    Absolute Accuracy: 0.2 nT

  • Three Axis Borehole Magnetometer
    Magneto resistive unit based on the Honeywell HMR2300
    Suitable for measuring the Earth's inclination and declination down a borehole.

  • RF Coil Tuning Bridge
    5 to 500 MHz
    Suitable for tuning the frequency and impedance of imaging coils.

  • Vector Impedance Analyzer (AEA Bravo MRI)
    100 kHz to 200 MHz
    Suitable for a variety of RF circuit analysis and tuning.

  • Computers
    Various Windows PCs and Unix X-Servers
    The laboratory is a part of the Center for Imaging Science which contains numerous additional Sun and Dec alpha machines.

    Lathe, Drill Press, End Mill, Band Saw, Sander

  • GE Signa Whole Body MRI
    The director of the laboratory has access to this imager located at the University of Rochester Medical Center

  • RF Field Mapping
    Three-axis micro pickup coil with XYZ translational positioning system.
