The Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph (STIS) on board the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is a remarkably flexible instrument that can be used to take many kinds of interesting astrophysical data. It was used in this project.
J. Gethyn Timothy is the PI for the project, and Elliott Horch and Jeff Valenti (STScI) are collaborators.
