(1) Read the Image “Gray Values”

• Place the cursor on a pixel of one of the classes:

  • “Overwriting”
  • “Underwriting”
  • “Parchment”

• Read gray values from the “Image Info” window:

  • Red = 168
  • Green = 101
  • Blue = 17

• Best to measure several pixels of each class and average them.
