The Pennsylvania Railroad built through-truss bridges over the New York State Barge Canal in what is now Genesee Valley Park in Rochester. The first images are of the "main-line" bridge, which can be reached by walking south along the Greenway from the Skating Rink Parking Lot. A second bridge spans the Barge Canal further west and carried the interchange track between the PRR and the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad (now the Rochester and Southern RR). This second bridge is used to support piping.
