Dumpling Hill Lock
Along the Greenway south of Brook Road in Chili Township are the remnants of a lift lock, named after the shape of an adjacent hill. The lock is in excellent condition, particularly since the cutting of several large trees that were growing within. The stones in the top level of the lock are joined by iron u-bolts, of which most still exist. The wings of the north end of the lock are curved, while those at the south end are blunt. A marker placed by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey is embedded in the southwest wing of the lock.
