Who are we?
The CIS ambassador program is made up of individuals who volunteer their valuable time to help spread the word about Imaging Science at RIT. Ambassadors can be students, alumni, industry professionals, educators, or people simply interested in helping increase enrollment in Imaging Science. We are always looking for passionate, dedicated people to help with our cause.
What do CIS Ambassadors do?
Ambassadors for CIS visit school classrooms, represent CIS/RIT at college and career fairs, recruit prospective students, and distribute promotional materials. CIS alumni who participate in the RIT Alumni Admissions Representatives program also qualify as CIS Ambassadors.
What resources are available to Ambassadors?
Check out our Outreach Activities You Can Do page to see all of the videos, presentations, activities, and materials available. Ambassadors also have direct access to CIS staff dedicated to outreach to provide additional resources, mail materials and equipment, and help in any way possible.
What are the benefits of being a CIS Ambassador?
CIS greatly appreciates the value of personal time, so in return for their time and effort our Ambassadors are rewarded with thank-you gifts. The more outreach performed by an Ambassador, the greater the value of their appreciation gifts. All Ambassadors receive a high quality polo shirt embroidered with the CIS logo, to wear while acting as a representative of CIS and performing outreach duties.
