Congratulations to 3 students from the Multidisciplinary Vision Research Lab at CIS, Ariana Kei Hong, Tommy Keane, & Thomas Kinsman, who will be delivering 3 of the 9 papers selected for oral presentations at the IEEE WNY Image Processing Workshop on Friday, November 9, 2012. Imaging Science masters student Adam Rossi and undergraduate Imaging Science student Daniel Goldberg have also been selected to present - Congratulations, Adam and Dan!
This year's program includes 9 oral presentations, 8 posters and 2 excellent plenary speakers. 2012's morning keynote speaker is Imaging Science PhD alumnus Dr. Robert Loce, now a Principal Scientist at the Xerox Research Center. A full event schedule can be viewed here.

Tommy Keane won the Best Paper award for his paper on mapping a collection of 2D images into a 3D sphere for easy viewing.
