RIT University News presents reflections on community service from David Kelbe, the Bruce R. James '64 Distinguished Service Award for 2012. Kelbe, an imaging science doctoral candidate at Rochester Institute of Technology, travels internationally to volunteer in various capacities. Most notably he is affiliated with an orphanage, where he has served as a teacher, mentor and financial supporter for more than two years. Kelbe and Steven Morse, assistant vice president of institute audit, compliance and advisement, this year's recipient of RIT's Four Presidents Distinguished Public Service Award, will be formally honored on campus March 20.
