Abstract

This project will document the planning stages, execution, dissemination of data and documentation, and partial meteorological analysis of the data acquired during the SHARE2012 data collect, run by the Rochester Institute of Technology's Center for Imaging Science Digital Imaging and Remote Sensing laboratory.  It will serve as a repository of information related to and documentation of sensors and methods involved in the project, as well as providing some initial analysis of the radiometric correction of the data.

The SHARE2012 collection was conducted to provide a new multimodal, well ground truthed dataset to the remote sensing community.  This collection was completed on September 20th, 2012 with all sensors, and pertinent ground truth.  Data was collected by the Wildfire Airborne Sensor Program (WASP) sensor, SpecTIR ProSpecTIR sensor, LIDAR, NRL MicroHSI, and MITRE Polarimetric video sensor.  This data was collected in support of several experiments, including Unmixing, LIDAR Fusion, and In-water Target Detection, among others.  This data, along with descriptions of all experiments and ground truth collected are available at www.rit.edu/cos/SHARE2012.
