Surveillance cameras are everywhere. They’re in shopping malls and at city intersections.
But most of the time, no one is watching what those cameras are capturing. In some cases, those images are sent to a digital video recorder where they can be manually reviewed after something happens. Useful in reconstructing an incident, but not so good at raising an alert for something in progress.
