Marianne Lipps obtained both her BS and MS in Imaging Science. Her research focused on using image processing techniques to help understand how human vision works. She got several job offers before graduating, and finally decided to take a position as a scientist at ITT Industries Space Systems Division in Rochester, NY.
According to Marianne, "the most valuable part of the Imaging Science program at RIT is the faculty - a great mix of smart people from different fields. They give students the attention that they need, as well as opportunities to do undergraduate research."
