| In many cases, a single classroom session isn't long enough to adequately cover a particular topic - several sessions may be required to do it justice. This is often true when exposing secondary students to imaging science. While a single lecture can provide a reasonable overview of the field, additional contact time is needed to coherently discuss many of the sub-disciplines. Consequently, the faculty and staff of the Center have developed a collection of short courses which give students a more in-depth look at subjects such as optics, image processing, remote sensing, and color. These mini-courses can be tailored to smoothly integrate with your curriculum. |
