First of all, you will need to get an account on the imaging science network. Once you get an account, you need to know how to log in to your account. Once you have your account and can log into it, you will be ready to begin. The operating system being used on the workstations is UNIX. One of the preliminary aims of this course is to develop a working knowledge of the UNIX operating system familiarize you all with the working environment and the network.
