The Course:A four credit hour course designed to teach the principles of the imaging technique called magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Readings: The attached calendar contains a list of suggested readings. H(c2) is chapter 2 in my hypertext book on MRI. In addition to this material, the library has many books and journal articles on MRI. (Please see Library in the menu for a listing.) A copy of Magnetic Resonance Imaging by Stark and Bradley on reserve in the library. There are many web resources on MRI. Please see the MRI Links menu entry for a listing.

Assignments: Homework assignments will be made, collected, and graded. The homework assignments will be of both the numeric and essay type.

Examinations: One mid term exam and one final exam will be given. Due to the nature of the course material, the final exam is cumulative.
