Past Imaging Bash Events:

RIT Summer Imaging Bash

This unique cross-disciplinary event brings together faculty and staff from across RIT to share a single image that encapsulates a creative or research endeavor currently under pursuit. Everyone gets two minutes with their image displayed to state their name, something about themselves, and a summary of the research or creative aspect of their work. An informal reception follows where new friendships and collaborations are formed.

The intended audience for this event is faculty, staff, and alumni from all colleges at RIT who perform imaging science-related research.

CIS Fall Icebreaker Bash

Replacing the Welcome Back Fall Picnic is a fun and interactive event that helps us get to know each other better through images, while enjoying live music, food, and games. Images submitted ahead of time are presented in a random order; then, as each participant’s image comes up they are given up to 2 minutes to introduce themselves and describe their image—or risk getting “gonged”. Partygoers enjoy playing on custom BINGO boards made to corresponded with the images, with the chance to win prizes.

The intended audience for this event is students, faculty, staff, and alumni from CIS.
