Abstract = {This paper analyses two linearization methods for a prototypical multi channel inkjet printer. First a multi spectral printing system is explained and set up. This is followed by an introduction to conventional linearization methods of the graphic arts industry. Next, various halftone screens, featured by the modified 7-channel Epson printer used in this study, are examined in conjunction with the pertinent linearization method. Finally, the two linearization methods are evaluated with respect to the spectral accuracy as judged by the Yule-Nielsen modified spectral Neugebauer model (YNSN)},
